Brett Novey

Brett Novey serves as a strategic partner at PayStrike, where he helps shape the firm’s growth strategy and works directly with clients to ensure PayStrike’s solutions deliver long-term value. He leads PayStrike’s efforts in building trusted partnerships across key industries, with a particular focus on Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) initiatives in the collegiate market.
Brett brings a deep background in scaling businesses and building high-performing teams. As CEO of one of the largest privately held health and wellness companies in the U.S., he led the company from startup to $425 million in revenue and $65 million in EBITDA. Under his leadership, the company achieved a peak valuation of $1.8 billion. He is passionate about helping clients navigate change, drive operational improvement, and unlock new growth opportunities.
Outside of work, Brett is an avid skier, hiker, and golfer, and enjoys spending time outdoors with family and friends.
Brett holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a BS in Finance and Accounting from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business.
Tom Kane
Partner, PayStrike
Tom Kane serves as a strategic partner at PayStrike, where he leads business development and works directly with clients to optimize payment infrastructure, reduce processing costs, and implement solutions that fit the operational demands of their business. He focuses on high-volume, cash-intensive industries where efficiency, transparency, and compliance are critical.
With over 20 years of experience across investment banking, quantitative trading, and payment operations, Tom combines institutional expertise with a practical, problem-solving approach. Before joining PayStrike, he spent five years providing ATM and cash logistics solutions to businesses with complex cash handling needs, and held senior roles raising capital for private investment funds. Earlier in his career, he was a global quantitative trader, designing and executing sophisticated strategies in fast-moving markets.
Tom holds an MBA from DePaul University and a BA in Finance and International Business from the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater.
